Aside from already enjoying the general concept and use, I find the overall experience to be varied and I believe effective use depends on the user interacting with the device correctly. Excuse me if this post comes across as critical, but it is not in a negative perspective but one intending to provide effective development feedback.
Now the good comes into the ease of setup and configuration where it is effectively plug and play.
The case presents itself as more prototype than launch product and does leave room for improvement but overall isn’t a hassle to work with.
The volume doesn’t seem to change much and it’s just been at 100 for now.
I have noticed is that I will receive my own messages on the device. There may be a way to tag a message and not play it on the device if the source ID matches the destination ID.
On the website stream the autoplay function doesn’t seem to work, but I haven’t troubleshooted much and I’m not sure if there may be a browser setting that blocks autoplay audio. (This is where I would prefer to receive the messages anyways as playing with headphones can make it difficult to hear messages from the device especially if the sender is speaking quietly.)
Aside from this I haven’t been able to really use it in a large group setting and am waiting for greater adoption to be able to run through it some more.
